This market resolves YES if any blockchain protocol for a cryptocurrency ranked in the top 10 by market cap implements quantum information as a part of its consensus mechanism by March 1, 2025. Resolution will be based on official announcements and technical documentation from the protocol teams, verified by independent blockchain analysts.

  • Note that some underlying L1s may be the same for different entries the top 10. This only resolves YES if one of these (perhaps fewer than 10) L1s meets the criteria.

  • The use of quantum information doesn't have to extend to all consensus participants, but must be a core part of the protocol, rather than an external effort implemented through a smart contract.
