Resolution Criteria

GTA 6 will resolve YES if the game launches on or before December 31, 2026. Resolution will be determined by checking official Rockstar Games announcements and major gaming retailers (Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store) for confirmed release dates. The market resolves NO if the game does not release by December 31, 2026.

Background

GTA 6 was previously delayed from its May 2026 release date, with the current official release date set for November 19, 2026. This is the first new entry in the series since 2013's GTA 5, and is predicted to sell more than 40 million units in its first year alone.

Considerations

Take-Two CEO stated he is "highly confident on the new date" and that GTA 6 will not be delayed again, though he made similar comments when the previous May release date was announced. The game has already experienced one public delay, making additional delays a material risk factor for traders.
