Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS is set to be visible in the dawn skies around late September/early October. It might get to apparent magnitude 6.5, which means "just about barely visible".
On the other hand, predicting comet brightness is notoriously a bit of a crapshoot. So we might get a bright comet or we might get a faint smudge through binoculars. Which one will it be?
Resolves at the end of November according to reports from EarthSky, Astronomy Magazine or space.com.
