The asteroid 65803 Didymos is a near earth object that was recently impacted by a probe as part of the DART mission. There are a few similar objects that are "easily" reachable from the Earth, that is with delta-vees similar or even lower than that needed to get to the Moon. Will any one of the objects in this list https://cneos.jpl.nasa.gov/nhats/ be reached by a manned mission before a new successful manned landing on the Moon?

Details: a manned mission is defined as any space mission carrying at least one live adult human being to a distance of 1000 km or less from the surface of the asteroid, irrespective of the nature of the approach (flyby, orbit, landing...). A new landing on the Moon is defined as a successful soft landing of a spacecraft containing at least one live adult human being on the Moon surface, happening after market creation. No extra-vehicular activity required in either case.

The market will be resolved when either event happens, with the resolution date extended as necessary.

Edit, additional details: if a near earth object comes to within 1000 km of the Earth (including the LSS and other crafts in LEO), this does not count, even if the orbit is modified intentionally. If a Moon landing is botched in a way that the crew cannot make it back but they were still alive at the moment of landing and at least briefly afterwards, it still counts as a successful landing.

Selected markets will have a sweepstakes toggle. These require sweepcash to participate and allow winners to withdraw any sweepcash won to real money.
As play money and sweepstakes markets are independent of each other, they may have different odds even though they share the same question and comments.
