This market predicts the number of new items that will appear in Wikipedia's 'In the news' (ITN) section during November 2024, excluding sports results from the count.
While sports scores or results are excluded from the count, the count would include major sports-related events that aren't results (e.g. scandals, sports-related accidents, record-breaking, facility disasters, or organizational changes).
We are defining sports loosely here; this category would include (but is not limited to) esports, chess, competitive eating, qualifying rounds, and racing.
Each unique headline counts as one item, even if it's updated multiple times.
The final count will be determined by reviewing changes to the ITN section on the Wayback Machine.
