Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC has a Combined Construction and Operating license from the NRC for two AP1000 Reactor plants at William States Lee III Nuclear Station William States Lee III Nuclear Station, Unit 1 | NRC.gov. With Vogtle units 3 and 4 online there has been renewed interest in building more of this design.
