Eh… To my understanding, Hannibal, Attila, and Tamerlane lasted hundreds of years as primary cultural touchstones for evil wanton destruction. I think the Nazis could easily last another century or two.

@EMcNeill doesn't seem to me the question implies human agency as a necessary component
