Mainstream media sources such as CNN and The New York Times will be used as the primary market source, with photos from other sources being used as a backup assuming they can be verified as legitimate.

Options must be notable people, as determined by myself -- don't add random obscure people or they will be resolved to N/A.

  • Update 2025-17-01 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): Resolution Criteria:

    • Attendance is limited to the official ceremony at the US Capitol on January 20, 2025, at noon.

Nevermind, he's already done.

morawiecki at the starlight ball, I still cannot find info whether he was at the official ceremony

Bernie Sanders
Mateusz Morawiecki

@skibidist Fair reason to N/A that option I'd say.

@EBSnyder Haha, no, I disagree. If he doesn't attend because he doesn't have a badge, it's a NO

@skibidist fair. I just figured political games might be front and center but we've seen stuff like this with Turkeys delegation when they visit.

@Jubs if some attendees end up in the capitol one arena watching digitally while the oath happens in the rotunda does that count? My guess is no but it would be neat to get clarity in advance.

@Fay42 @Jubs this is a valid question. Sam Altman for example was not there live, others are just hard or impossible to verify if they were watching remotely. I can see it both ways, but best to clarify that counting the rotunda people is how you want to roll.

@Jubs I think this is obvious but just to make explicit: you are only counting attendance at the official ceremony, scheduled for noon at the US Capitol on Jan 20, not any other events like the parade, parties, and receptions, correct?

First to ABC: Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi won't attend Trump's inauguration

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will not attend President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration, according to her spokesperson.

Pelosi notably attended Trump's inauguration in 2017, when she was the House Democratic leader.

A spokesman did not disclose a reason why the California Democrat is skipping the high-profile event.

@Jubs why hasn't this one resolved?

@skibidist TikTok CEO

Mateusz Morawiecki

@skibidist former Polish prime minister

Janna has no wikipedia article. Perhaps @skibidist could give some context why she might be invited

@JussiVilleHeiskanen She made a prominent appearance at Trump's previous inauguration
