This campaign. Resolves YES if we receive official confirmation before 2026. Resolves NO otherwise. I won't bet in this market. The audio doesn't have to be AI-generated, just the video, and it's ok if there's some manual editing done on top of the AI generated video too.
Update 2025-09-30 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): - Only the on-screen footage matters; audio need not be AI-generated.
The footage doesn't have to be 100% AI; the bulk (majority) of the ad's footage should be AI-generated.
Editing does not have to be AI at all; fully manual editing is fine.
An official statement from OpenAI that "some parts" of the ad were AI-generated, even without specifying which parts, will be taken as sufficient to resolve YES.
@MaxE For the second video, it seems like it should resolve Yes if the video itself is AI generated (*former overconfident guess*). The audio doesn't have to be and the overlayed ChatGPT demo doesn't have to be. At least that's what I think based on description
@Jolliest Yeah, just the footage. It doesn't need to be all of the footage, but it should be the bulk of the ad. (In practice I expect it'll either be all AI-generated footage or none, anyway)
The editing does not have to be AI at all. If OpenAI doesn't go into detail and just says "yep we AI generated some parts of the ad" without elaborating, I'd resolve YES then as well.
