@ScipioFabius I used to have that position, but the Space Shuttle was a complete failure that didnโt achieve any of its objectives.
@PaulHan A "complete failure" is overstating the problems with Shuttle. It carried Hubble and most of the ISS components.
@jks Sure but the old rocket platforms had lower cost, bigger payload, and higher uptime, the space shuttle reduced overall US capabilities.
