I hope this happens and that it’s just as uncanny valley as we're imagining. Nothing would bring more joy to my twisted mind.

@Stralor To be fair, I think the technology exists to make a live action movie about anthropomorphic animals without falling into the uncanny valley. There have just been some high-profile failed attempts. The D&D movie, for example, had some of the animal-based races show up without looking creepy.
