I bought ChatGPT Pro two weeks ago ( /Soli/will-i-think-chatgpt-pro-is-worth-2 ) after my Cursor bill exploded. I needed something cheaper, and since then I’ve been surprisingly happy with it. For coding I usually prefer Claude, and whenever Cursor let me choose a model I almost always went with Sonnet 4.5. Today I decided to give Claude Max a chance and bought it too. Now I’m curious whether I’ll actually find Claude Max worth the $200 by mid of December 2025.

@Dulaman i still prefer claude code over codex and doubt this will change anytime soon

@Dulaman very generous imo haven't reached limits on either although i code almost daily for multiple hours a day
