People who perform this job for humans are called (psycho)therapists. This market seeks to predict if such a job will be mainstream by the end of 2025.

Resolution criteria:

This market will resolve YES if there is a job* (i.e., permanent job or long-term contractor position (>6 months)) with the title AI Therapist or any variant** listed by a company with >20 employees on Indeed.com, LinkedIn.com, or Monster.com by 11:59 pm ET on December 31, 2025.

*Job = permanent job or long-term contractor position (>=6 months)

**Title = AI Therapist, AI Psychotherapist, AI Counselor, AI Psychologist

This market will resolve NO if no job with an appropriate title is listed by a company with >20 employees on Indeed, LinkedIn, or Monster by 11:59 pm ET on December 31, 2025

Assuming that "prompt engineer" doesn't count, it's not how LLMs work. They lack necessary things like long term memory, I'm not even taking about emotions or sense of self.
