Clarifications

This market refers to release dates, which may differ to announcement dates.

A 'studio album' is a collection of songs recorded in a recording studio. At the time of this market opening, Taylor Swift has released eleven studio albums.

A 'live album' is a collection of songs recorded while being performed before an audience.

A 'feature documentary' is a motion picture with a runtime of 40 minutes or more and the hallmarks of a documentary (e.g. interviews or behind-the-scenes footage).

A 'vault track' is a song labelled '(From The Vault)' in its title.

A 'novel' is a fiction book – this does not include memoirs, autobiographies or coffee table books. A novel is authored by Taylor Swift if she is credited as the author or has written it under a pseudonym.

A 'new' concert tour is one with a new name (i.e. not a continuation of the Eras Tour).

  • Update 2025-10-13 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): "The Eras Tour: The Final Show" (announced) appears to qualify as an updated edition of the concert film. The market will wait until it is actually released before resolving this answer.

  • Update 2025-10-13 (PST) (AI summary of creator comment): For a docuseries to count as a feature documentary: at least one individual episode must have a runtime of 40 minutes or more and meet the documentary criteria. Multiple episodes combined will not count if each individual episode is under 40 minutes.

A feature documentary about the Eras Tour

So, does a six-episode docuseries count?

This was the definition I gave for 'feature documentary':

A 'feature documentary' is a motion picture with a runtime of 40 minutes or more and the hallmarks of a documentary (e.g. interviews or behind-the-scenes footage).

I think the most intuitive interpretation is that it has to be singular but not necessarily standalone. So, if at least one episode in the series meets this description on its own, I will resolve YES.

But I won't consider a combination of multiple episodes (or the series as a whole) to be one 'feature documentary'. In other words, if every episode is short of the 40-minute mark, it won't count, even if the total duration of the series is 40+ minutes.

An updated edition of the Eras Tour concert movie

Based on how it's been described, "The Eras Tour: The Final Show" (which was announced today) seems to qualify as an updated edition of the concert film. I'll wait until it's actually released before I resolve.
