Is it harder to qualify for MOP or get drafted to an NBA team
NBA
MOP

MOP refers to Math Olympiad Program. The top 60 math students that are still in K-12 are selected to attend every year. To be selected, one would first take the multiple choice AMC, then the AIME with a qualifying score. After that one would have to do well on the USJMO or USAMO (proof based) to be selected for the program.

I'm sure all of you know what the NBA is.

I'm biased cause I had a reasonable path to MOP (scored well on JMO) and no path for the NBA (5'6" , Indian).

Based on raw probabilities they seem similar (~90 new NBA players per year), it obviously depends on what you condition it for since MOP is limited to the US, NBA is international, I think more people do competitive basketball than competitive math.
