@StepanBakhmarin not sure what this has to do with the poll but it's actually very difficult to distinguish whales from fish because they a. descend from fish and b. live in water like fish. Species classification is so cool!

Capacity for childbirth and presence of a Y chromosome would result in a very clear clustering which is useful and predictive.

That said, the model has some pretty obvious limitations and is not applicable everywhere all the time.
