@WilliamGunn yeah "cancer survivor" as a concept is an oxymoron, really. Few things are as guaranteed in life as the fact you have more cancer in you tomorrow than you did yesterday.

@dgga This isn't entirely true for many cancers. CML, for example, can be driven into remission such that no cancer cells are detectable for quite a while. Then there's surgical removal. But for inoperable and those lacking a good targeted therapy, yes.
