YES

In an article dated September 2022, the American Foundation for AIDS research reports five people cured of HIV by means of stem cell transplantation: the Berlin patient, the London patient, the Düsseldorf patient, the New York patient, and the City-of-Hope patient.

I posted the same question about 10, 100, and 1000 people.

Feel free to estimate if, over the next 8 and a half months, the number will increase from 10 to 100 (currently trades at 35%) or 1000 (20%), and bet it down if that sounds overpriced to you.

I am happily resolving this to YES. The same article which I referenced when creating this question two and a half years ago currently lists ten people cured of HIV. In addition to the five already mentioned in the description, there is the Geneva patient, the second Berlin patient, the French patient, the Chicago patient, and the Oslo patient. Two of these cases have only been reported at the CROI 2025 conference which happened earlier this month - so the happy news is very fresh.
